Nancy will give you a brief introduction to the session, the purpose of engaging in them and what science tells us about the benefits of laughter.
Warm Up
The sessions will then begin with a gentle warm-up and will include some deep breathing exercises. This prepares our diaphragm for some deep belly laughter and creates positive energy.
Laughter
The core part of the session gets you in touch with your playful side. When we are playful the natural outcome to that is laughter and combined with eye contact that laughter becomes real, contagious, spontaneous belly laughter. All this interspersed with deep, mindful breathing exercises.
Conclusion
The session will end with a brief laughter meditation and either some grounding exercises or guided meditation.
The sessions generally last about 45 – 60 minutes but each session is tailored to meet the needs of the participants so can be longer or shorter as required.
