Nancy began her Laughter Yoga journey in 2014 following some personal struggles and here begun an exploration into the connection between body and mind not only with laughter but also with everything that makes us human. She took her meditation practice deeper by training as a Meditation Teacher, founded Awakening Connection which focused on projects and events that inspired interaction, community and deeper connection and trained as a Compassionate Touch And Cuddle Therapist.
Nancy is also an End of Life Doula (www.the-held.com) supporting people as they transition through this epic and sacred time of living, dying and death. This role provides Nancy with a unique perspective on joy and laughter, the preciousness of time and of embodying our full and authentic selves. Nancy has developed incredible skills of holding space and deep listening which are all very valuable in both her laughter and meditation work.
As a result of this varied, specialised and deep work Nancy brings something special to her Laughter and Meditation sessions. Her work with laughter has evolved from traditional Laughter Yoga to something more fluid, more authentic and something that encapsulates being human. The focus being on inner joy, collaboration and playfulness.
In her meditation classes she keeps it real. Gently guiding people into being present.
“Life is too short to lose ourselves in the seriousness of it all. It is but fleeting yet if we can bring presence and connection to each moment that supports us in living a full and rich life. Nancy xx”
